It’s the entrepreneurial spirit we are counting on to save the world of tomorrow.

For the sixth time this year, we are eager to learn which ingenious solutions the entrepreneurial world has in store for us. And we are pleased to reward this courage for innovation: Applications for the Green Alley Award 2019 open today! Startups sending their pitch deck before 25 June 2019 get the chance to win €25,000 plus a crowdfunding opportunity and valuable business contacts!

At the Green Alley Award all participants could be winners: Even though only one startup can win 25.000 Euros to boost its business, all finalists profit from great networking and learning opportunities. In workshops they will meet European circular economy experts and startup mentors offering valuable advice as well as the opportunity to gain new business contacts. From foal to unicorn – 4 tips for sustainable startups
In the world of sustainable startups, achieving the unicorn status means to become the best offer in your whole industry, even better than conventional alternatives. Green Alley Award winner Aeropowder is a great example: Founded in 2016, they made first steps on wobbly legs like a foal until they evolved to an award-winning company that produces a sustainable thermal packaging made of waste feathers. 2018 has been a great year for Aeropowder and shows other startups what to focus on.
